Laguna implants sounds recorded in Venice into an austere 6-channel setting in the gallery of the Italian Cultural Institute in Chicago. The lower speakers present a continuous soundscape of the Venetian lagoon, while the upper speakers present sporadic, abrupt punctuated sounds (a burst of laughter, a kicked ball, etc.).
